Does a bird sneeze?

I WANT TO KNOW IF BIRDS SNEEZE AND CAN THEY CATCH COLDS
Answers:
Yes.Birds sneeze for the same reason that humans do. It clears their nasal passage of dust and other foreign materials. If you bird is sneezing all day long, then your bird may be getting a respiratory infection and should be seen by an vet.
Yes they do and yes they can.
yes we do

yea, they can sneeze and catch colds
yes
eva heard of bird flu
they do sneeze my moms cockatoo sneezes all the time.. not sure if they can catch colds.. don't see why they couldn't though they can catch flus
yesss, birds sneeze because of:dust, nasal irritation, small bug or down feathers up the nasal cavity.
Birds do sneeze and maybe sometimes catch flu's.
Yes they do as long as there isn't any redness or discharge coming from the nostrils or eyes. Birds sneeze for the same reason we do, it clears their nasal passage of dust. If your bird is sneezing all day long it may be getting a respiratory infection.
birds sneeze and they sound so cute ! they sound like a super superr small achoo like ours. they sneeze because of dust like us too ^^ but as long as they arent sneezing so much and dont have red eyes and wet stuff coming out from the nose and look sick .
birds do sneeze but i don't think they catch colds. i have two beautiful birds and they never caught a cold. i've been livivg with birds more than half my life.
Yes, birds can sneeze. They sneeze for the same reasons that we do - because there is a small irritation in our nostrils. Chickens do not catch a cold like we do, but there is a whole host of respiratory diseases that they can get.
hello dorothy, now you can tell sheilagh you know everything about birds sneezing.
Parakeets sneeze, I hear him do it every so often. Sometimes it's just something that got in his little nose hole and i'm sure sometimes it's because he has a cold of some sort.
Yes and yes they can get colds. They can't catch colds from us though I don't think
My senegal parrot not only sneezes, but has one heck of a wheezing cough too. Everytime we have visitors, he goes into a coughing spasm and we tell our visitors that he needs to go to the vet for us. Of course, everyone believes us!

(P.S. he is imitating a cough I had 10 years ago!)
Back when we had them...having on a number of occasions had a parakeet sneeze in my eye and leave speckles on my glasses (ick)...yes, they do. I think all animals can catch colds.
yes birds do sneeze and they can catch colds and in fact flue which can be fatel,,,,
Yes. and Yes.

Since birds are historically prey animals they hide their illness, so if a bird is actually showing illness, it's bad and needs to get to the vet IMMEDIATELY.
yes they can sneeze

weve had our cockatiel 8 years now,and hes never had a cold
