Duckling questions?

we have two ducklings we got about two weeks ago. One has Lost the webbing on its feet. Will it grow back? What can we do?
Answers:
it might not if it is healed over and stuf then prob. not but if still open then maybe you should tell how it happened and i would like to know what type of duckling. hope this helps
No it won't come back. Once it is gone it does not regenerate.
How in the world did this duckling lose it's webbing. This generally doesn't happen as the duckling grows unless it has been injured.
I got my first duck because my Dad worked at our local Animal Shelter and a kid had gotten a duck for Easter and the kid was running with the duck and stepped on it's foot, tearing the webbing in it's foot. . . the parents freaked and gave the duck up. . .It became my first pet duck.
There is nothing you can do unless the webbing has accidentally gotten torn and there is still flesh there and the vet can sew it back together ASAP before the tissue starts to heal over and it's edges aren't raw. . . open flesh sewn to open flesh will grow back together if sewn together soon enough.
If it has lost the webbing on both feet,it may have trouble walking but definately problems with swimming and should NEVER be allowed to swim in water too deep for the duck to stand up as it would not be able to keep itself afloat.
Please have a vet look at it ASAP!
