I have two cockatails and they layed 7 eggs last month. The eggs have still not hatched, but both birds do take turns in warming thier eggs. We were told that by 2 weeks if they wouldn't hatch there was no more possibility that they will hatch. It's been a month, what is the problem?
Answers:
Either they do not know how to take care of them yet or they were not fertilized eggs. Are you sure the about the sex of your birds. Birds can lay eggs that are unfertilized. I'm pretty sure if its been that long they are no good anymore.
Well, this has happened to me before and is this is there 1st,2nd,3rd,4th or even 5th batch of eggs these first 5 dont always hatch they die most of the time! (sad to say)
