Found a bird with a crooked beak!! HELP!?

So i found this bird and the top and bottom beak dont fit together, the top is off to the side. The bird wouldnt fly away so i figured it was hurt or there was something wrong with itso i picked it up and took it home. We cant figure out if the bird ran into something and broke its jaw and maybe hit its head and thats why it wouldnt fly away or if something else is up with its beak (it grew that way or something) and now it cant pick food so it was weak from not eating. We trmmied its beak so its slightly better and its eaten a little and it drank some water. If anyone knows anything about this crooked beak, or the birds behavior, please help me because its saturday and i wont be able to take it to a vet or wildlife control or anything till monday.

Well you shouldn't have trimmed it's beak without knowing what species it is... For a crossbill ( http://www.birds.cornell.edu/allaboutbir... ) it's perfectly normal to have a crossed bill and is actually essential or they cannot feed properly ... Crossed bills / deformed bills in other species do occur tough the cause isn't actually known for sure and seems more prevalent in some places, http://www.birds.cornell.edu/pfw/aboutbi... . If you can get the little guy to a rehabber sooner all the better, but until then , keep him in a cardboard box (doesn't damage feathers), keep it covered and avoid peeking inside since it's stressful for the bird (as far as he's concerned you might want to eat him), since you didn't mention what kind of bird it is it is hard to say what to give him, but don't give milk/ dairy products, bread, or a combination of these and don't try and force the bird to eat. Offer a shallow water dish (don't want him drowning in his own water bowl), seeds, small fruits, soaked cat food, I'd say mealworms but doubt you have any on hand, but if it's just till tomorrow he should be fine. If anything you should call the nearest wildlife rehabber, they'll give you more advice and might be able to help with bird transport, http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.

Good luck
Unfortunately, accidents happen.
Keep up with supportive care. Keep offering water and maybe try some soft food. Depending on the type of bird, soak some dog food, or bread in water and offer that.

Please understand that the shock of the injury, combined with being captured by humans (the bird doesn't understand you're trying to help, it thinks it's been hunted for food), may kill the bird despite your best efforts.

Good luck
It sounds like the bird you found was in an accident, but there is a species of bird with an offset beak, just FYI. Unfortunately I can't remember what they're called, but it may just be that the bird is one of those birds and it's dazed from a separate accident. It may be that the bird is either too far gone that your efforts will be in vain, or that it'll get awfully stressed out by being in close quarters with "predators" and may die anyway. But yes, do take it to a wildlife person or vet on Monday. Good luck.
Without knowing what kind of bird it is hard to tell you what to feed it. But you can get some Jiffy cornbread mix and add some veggies (frozen is ok) and mix it all together and bake like the box says. Offer that to him, (cut in squares).
You can also get some Chamomile tea, and that will calm him down if he is stressed, just add to the water bowl.
As soon as you can get him to the vet will be great, talk to him also, he might respond to you.
I am a bird person and I think its just an overgrown beak. If it were clipped, i think it will be OK. Let the vet or someone experienced, It might be hazardous if you do it. No offense.
please take the bird to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator so that he can be seen by a experienced veterinarian.
