Egg hatching?

well i want to do that thing where you get an egg and a heater and stuff. then u watch it hatch. but i was wondering what you needed for the experiment.
and i f u have done it before what the experence was like.?
Answers:
it is not as easy as only requiring an egg and a heater.

The temperature should be kept at 38C / 100F if any hotter and the egg will be cooked and any colder and the bird won't hatch. The egg needs to be turned frequently(twice a day) and if the air is dry moisture needs to be added.

You can build your own incubator, what is required is the following,

A sturdy box, wood works fine, a couple of small ventilation holes on the top and a door that can be easily opened.

Normal light bulbs can be used to generate heat.

Light bulbs need to be thermometer and switch off once temperature is obtained.

My incubators used to have a shelf for putting the eggs on and a bowl for water underneath to ensure that they do not dry out.(heating the air normally dry it out). ensure that the eggs are not to close to the bulbs so that they do not overheat.

an window can be put into the door/box as to monitor.
You mean using an incubator to hatch eggs.Yes I have them.Yes I use them.As for the experience well!!!If you do everything correctly It can give you a sense of accomplishment.Though you have to remember once it is over with you now have young birds to care for.So the experiment doesn't end once they are hatched.
