what does it meen when a budgie keeps fluffin up
and my girl budgie keeps trying to escape from its cage it climbs up the sides and tuckes its head inbetween its legs can some give me some answeres

hi erm this is a hard question but i have 3 budgies in a cage they sometimes fluffy up i think because scared or cleaning lol but they do climb the cage dont know why but i do know they like to have space to fly if u have to try letting them have a fly about and make sure all doors and windows are closed and dont worry about getting then back in the cage leave cage door open and they will go back when they are hungry or thirsty that way they will learn to realise u don want to hurt them just be patient and hope goes well
if it fluffs up it may be cold, but if they r both acting weird it may be mating season!!get a nest
If they are in the same cage maybe they need separated they dont sound too happy to me. The one that keeps fluffing up maybe ill or cold
Is your budgie shaking it's feathers or sitting on the perch all fluffed up? If he's sitting and all fluffed up, he could be sick. If he's shaking his feathers he might be maulting or a vain budgie who loves to look good. Your girl budgie is fine. That's normal. Some budgie's are acrobatic. She's just one of them.
