Help i need help with baby chicken.. want to no its sex?

Answers:
Really you can not tell until they are older or you take it to vet to get it sexed. It could be weeks to months before you can tell the difference. This may sound too easy but the only way you will be able to tell the male from the female is when his comb starts to develop, he starts to crow and he develops spurs (a hard protrusion) on his legs. With size a laying hen will become more bottom heavy while a rooster gets more top heavy and muscular. Telling the looks apart really depends on the breed of chicken for example the males and females of the Aracana breed look almost exactly alike even when grown and the only way to tell is the rooster will start crowing and not lay eggs and the hen will not crow and will lay eggs. I suggest finding out what breed you have and doing individual research on the breed you have.
