Have there ever been a hooded oriole in Missouri?

Answers:
You would get Orchard Orioles there...could you have seen an immature male Orchard and mistaken him for a hooded?

You should go to the closest library because there are many good books on bird-watching. The librarian will be happy to help you find something.
The Hooded Oriole does not appear on the Audubon Society of Missouri's checklist of birds, even as an accidental or vagrant, defined as 1-4 recorded sightings; or even as a hypothetical, defined as at least one possibly valid record, but has not met criteria for full acceptance by the Missouri Bird Records Committee (MBRC)

If you believe that you have seen one in Missouri, you should try to get a good quality, clear photo of it, or get an experienced birdwatcher to validate your identification, then you should report it to the Audubon Society.
