The kids I babysit for found a Robin's nest inside their dad's BBQ with one egg in it. They are afraid that if he moves it the mother won't return. What do we do???

Move it to a high near place and she will return. Guaranteed. Have a nice day.
Give up BBQ for few weeks,and let them be.
unless you are not going to use the barbeque then leave it but if you want to use it move it once touched the mother bird will not come back to it but robins will nest up to 4 times if disturb so dont worry about it just do it now while there is time for the mother to make a new one
don't touch them!!! poor little robins!!!!!
use the egg to make an omelet and start up the bbq with the nest in it.
it probably makes for some pretty tasty steak!
