Egg hatching?

my 9 year old girl but a hen egg in my airing cobrd for a few weeks ago now, do you think it will hach.
Answers:
Sometimes supermarket eggs are fertile, but they won't hatch, they get chilled before you buy them so that kills any embryos.
Eggs not only need to be kept warm, they also need a really high humidity. You can buy incubators and you have to put water in them to keep the eggs damp. Also, eggs need to be turned twice a day or the chick won't develop properly.
I'd say you have a rotten egg in your airing cupboard - be really careful how you get rid of it! I'd put it in a freezer bag and tie the top so even if it breaks it won't stink the place out.
No not really... For it to hatch the temp should be around.. 89-99 degrees the highest is for males to hatch and the low is for females to hatch
I dont think that works~i think you need the mother to rub it.
no male means no fertile egg.
i am really sorry but i dont think your 9 year old dasughter will hatch.
