Finch with broken wing?

Just bought a zebra finch and apprently during the ride home in the box he hurt one wing. Is out of place and he tries to fly but does it akwardly.
Can I fix his wing? I dont know if I can touch it or let it be
Answers:
Call a vet. It could be broken or pulled out of joint. If you aren't familiar with birds, I wouldn't try to reset it, you could end up doing more harm than good. A vet can tell you what the damage is, if it's broken, it will definately need to be taken to a vet, they have to set it in a sling to be sure that it heals properly. If you can't afford that.. you could try calling the pet store and asking if they have a return policy, or if they'd be willing to swap with another one. You should probably bring the cage in the car with you the next time you want to transport it. A box doesn't give the bird anything to grasp onto, so it's pretty much free to be thrown around just by turning a corner, whereas in a cage, it could brace itself properly for corners and breaking.
Hopefully he'll be okay, best of luck to the both of you.
take it back to the pet store where you got it and let them know what happened, ask them what to do with it.
aww I'm sorry to hear this well what i would do is take it to a vet NOT the place you got it from (because the pet shop will probably put it down)don't try to touch its wing if you don't have to rap it in a warm towel on the way 2 vet
I would call the vet, then get a statment from the vet, then take it back to the pet shop, pet shops do not always put a bird down, we correct problems as well
