Would it be the large number of Barn Swallows keeping the Wrens away? I have a number of trees on my property and have Sparrows,Robins and Cardinals (but no Bishop's). I love Wrens and enjoy their song.

Put up a huge poster singing "Wrens wanted"!!
I guess the problem is not the sign but the sing!
