Sadly, the best thing you can do is leave it be..If you attempt to interfere the mother will abandon and the little one will die..If you really want to help, make sure the mother has plenty to drink and natural bird seed etc. It's sad but they have their own way of dealing with things..
leave it where you found him his mother will continue to feed him.
or you can feed him grubs
baby birds dont normally just fall from nests this is a common misconception. mother birds push them out when they are sick or weak etc. but if you want to try feeding it go to a place that sells and pick up some worms crickets etc. you may have to crush them tho.
He most likely is going to die.

grind up snails, worms, slug, caterpillar, moths, spiders for him to eat. A few drops of water should suffice, but make sure he has a regular supply.
sausage and mash should build him up
Awww, I don't have a clue, I'm sorry, but I really hope you manage to save him!
How about ringing the RSPCA or a local bird club (if they even exist!)?
Get some small live bait from the fishing store.
soggy bread and cut up woms, plenty of water
It's normal for many young birds to leave their nests before they can fly. They're called fledglings. Fledglings are fed and tended by their parents until they become self-sufficient. Although the fledgling period can be a perilous time, you should understand that it's a normal part of the wild bird's life.

So, if you come upon a fledgling, don't be in too much of a hurry to rescue it.
give him what he would have in the wild, worms, maggots and insects.go to the garden or a fishing shop.
But seriously though many young birds fall out of the nest deliberatly, the adults are aware of this and usually keep an eye on them, blackbirds are notorious for this.
Try bread and seeds as they love this, if he is very young as you say try suet soaked in milk and no you do not have to chew the worms up, mix them with the suet and milk. Hope this is helpful. If he starts to flounder keep him very warm and then call the R.S.P.B. or take him to your nearest vet.
Never feed it for the first day it can die of shock then use cat food mashed up.
Ok, one thing you could do is mash a worm up and mack to where the worm is in small picses put the worm on something like a pop sikel stike ,and see if the bird will eat it. If that does not work tack it to a vet and thell tack care of it
it will die
I rescue and rehab birds. Sparrows do not eat worms. They eat seeds and berries. Pet stores sell baby bird food that is basically ground up seeds. This can be fed, slightly moistened on the end of a chopstick or toothpick. There may be a bird rehabber in your area who would take and care for the bird and release it. Call the humane society, a local vet or the local zoo. They might know the rehabbers.
if he is a fledgling than he does not need to be fed by you...he is being fed by the parents. Baby birds leave the nest BEFORE they can fly...this is completely normal. Please put the bird back where you found him as the adults are probably searching for him. Do not worry about the adults rejecting him...birds cannot smell well so cannot smell human scent on the chick. You can watch from afar to see if they are coming to feed...keep in mind if they see you, they will not come to feed. It is illegal for you to have this bird in your possession...but let nature takes it course and let the adults take care of him as this is his best chance of survival.
get some help for the bird so it can live
