Yesterday i found a nest of baby mocking birds and i watched them and as the mom was coming back a cat jumped up and killed her.so i took the nest down and have them in a improvised incubator (dont worry it works just fine and i keep the eggs at 87-90 degrees) and they could hatch any day now
how do i feed them and how often. do i keep them in the incubator. i know what they eat though. please help me!?

Your best bet is to take them to a rehab center. Baby birds need feeding every 30 minutes, sunrise to sunset (6am-11pm), which with a full nest is near constantly. Even raising one alone is a tiring job. If this is not possible, you will need to keep them warm til they are feathered. Feed a mix of baby bird hand rearing formula and canned cat food watered down a bit. When feeding baby birds you need to make sure the food gets to the back of their throat or they will asperaite and die. In terms of feeding technique, it's really best if someone shows you. I used a syringe until the birds were feathered, and switched to a chopstick and a slightly thicker mix as they started to wean. You'll need to press it against the side of the beak to get them to open at first, but after a few days you'll have mouths gaping at you to be fed. Don't feel you're doing badly if a couple die. It's fairly common for some not to make it. Feel free to contact me.
its illeagel to keep a baby birds nest cause there wild try phoning a local animal rescue and call them they would deffiently help
I had never raised Mockingbirds at home. Only parrots. Still I searched on the internet and got some websites which are mentioned below. Also check with the Vet Doctor .
Best of Luck.
